Racing motorcycles is a very exciting spectacle. It attracts plenty of attention and will always draw a crowd of spectators. This is the idea behind having a motocross race on the beach at Mamzar during the anti-drug campaign of the Dubai Police, “Say No to Drugs, Yes to Sports.”
On its 3rd year, this event has been organized in part by Mohammed Balooshi. In cooperation with fellow motocrosser, Sean Gaugain, Balooshi has brought this event each year attracting more interest from the general public.
“I am proud to be part of this event each year. The fight against drugs is a difficult task and to be able to do my part in helping get more awareness for the Dubai Police campaign is truly an honor,” said Balooshi.
Also present at the event were Mohammed’s fellow riders of the KTM-UAE Racing Team, Tim Trenker and Sam Sunderland.
“Together with our partners, Red Bull and Volkswagen, the KTM-UAE Racing Team intends to participate in more events like this. We believe in giving back to the community,” said Tim Trenker.
The Road to Dakar Project features Tim Trenker, Mohammed Balooshi and Sam Sunderland, supported by Red Bull and Volkswagen.
